The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the website investify-global.com. According to information available to BaFin, financial and investment services are being provided on this website without the required authorisation.
The unknown operator of the website claims to have a registered office in Leatherhead, United Kingdom. BaFin has become aware that the operator previously maintained a website with the domain investifygroup.com, which has now been deactivated.
BaFin expressly points out that both websites have no connection to the company Investify S.A., which is authorised in Luxembourg, or to its branch office of the same name in Cologne. This is a case of identity theft.
Anyone providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation.
