The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the websites green-vest.io, wisewealth.ai, dgtlfuture.com, titanwealth24.com and wisevests.com. According to information available to BaFin, financial and investment services are being offered on these websites without the required authorisation.

The website green-vest.io is allegedly operated by Green-Vest Investment Company, domiciled in Dallas, USA. The website wisevests.com is allegedly operated by the company GroupUp Green LLC, which is purportedly domiciled in the Caribbean island country St. Vincent and the Grenadines. According to the information provided on the website, the anonymous operator of dgtlfuture.com is domiciled in London, UK.

The websites wisewealth.ai and titanwealth24.com contain no information about their operators or registered offices. All of the websites are almost identical to websites that have already been the subject of warnings by BaFin. Details can be found in the following consumer warnings dated 23 October 2023, 24 November 2023 and 4 March 2024. On all of the websites, the following sentence is displayed at the top of the homepage: “Step Into The Trading Arena With Confidence & [name of website]”.

Anyone providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been granted authorisation by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.

The information provided by BaFin is based on section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG).

Please be aware

BaFin, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BundeskriminalamtBKA) and the German state criminal police offices (Landeskriminalämter) recommend that consumers seeking to invest money online should exercise the utmost caution and do the necessary research beforehand in order to identify fraud attempts at an early stage.
