The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the services offered on the website welttech24.com and welttech24.pro. According to information available to BaFin, the operator Welttech GmbH or Welt Tech allegedly domiciled in Vienna is providing financial and investment services on this website without the required authorisation. The company falsely claims to be regulated in Europe. No license exists. The company also misuses the address, the tax number and the graphic design of the website of the authorised Bitpanda GmbH, Vienna, Austria. There is no connection between Welttech24 and Bitpanda GmbH.
Anyone providing financial and investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been granted authorisation by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.
