On 25 March 2021, BaFin imposed administrative fines totalling 80,000 euros on a natural person due to breaches of section 33 (1) sentence 1 and section 34 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG).
An appeal may be lodged against the administrative fine order.

In a decision issued on 9 January 2023, the Frankfurt am Main Local Court (Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main) discontinued the proceedings in accordance with section 47 (2) oft he German Act on Regulatory Offences (Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz – OWiG).
