On 15 February 2024, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) imposed an administrative fine amounting to 8,000 euros on an individual in a management position at a domestic issuer due to a breach of section 114 (1) sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG).
An appeal may be lodged against the administrative fine order.
