BaFin issued a notice on 9 March 2020 ordering ZhongDe Waste Technology AG to comply with the financial reporting requirements under sections 114 et seq. of the Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG) and threatening to impose coercive fines in the amount of EUR 282,500.
ZhongDe Waste Technology AG contravened the requirements under section 114 (1) sentences 2 and 3 of the WpHG with respect to the annual financial information for the financial year 2018 as well as section 115 (1) of the WpHG with respect to the half-yearly financial report for the financial year 2019.
The notice is immediately enforceable but not yet final and binding.
Update (20.04.2020):
On 14 April 2020, the company lodged an objection against the notice ordering compliance and threatening to impose a coercive fine.
