On 23 October 2019, BaFin imposed an administrative fine amounting to 270,000 euros against Godewind AG.
The sanction related to a breach of section 115 (1) sentence 1 in conjunction with section 115 (2) no. 3 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG). Godewind AG had failed to make its half-yearly financial report for the financial year of 2018 in full publicly available within the prescribed period.
The company can lodge an appeal against the administrative fine order.
