Inflation, the interest rate reversal, the impacts of the war in Ukraine and the ecological transformation of our economies: insurers and institutions for occupational retirement provision are operating in a challenging environment. As a result, close communication between the industry and supervisors is all the more important.
At the 2022 Annual Insurance Supervision Conference in Bonn, company representatives, academics, representatives of industry associations and supervisors discussed the current situation in the insurance industry and the regulation of sustainability risks. Additional supervisory topics were also on the agenda.
